Several schools in Delhi-NCR have received bomb threats via email. Some principals claim it’s spam mail has become rampant in the last couple of months which affects regular school hours and creates panic among students and parents.
Police officials reached the site and the search operation is going on. Till now nothing suspicious found.
Delhi Police team are putting all its efforts into finding the IP address of the threat email senders but till now no proof found about the suspect and the location from where the mail was sent.

- Sanskriti School of Chanakyapuri police station area
- Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar of East Delhi
- Delhi Public School of Dwarka district
- St. Thomas’ Girls Senior Secondary School
- Army Public School
- GD Goenka in Dwarka
- Guru Harikrishan Public School, Delhi
- Salwan Public School, Delhi
- BGS Vijnatham School, Dwarka
- DAV School
- Amity School
- Pushp Vihar
- Saket and
- Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri
Sanskriti School in Chanakyapur police station area, Mother Mary School at Mayur Vihar of east Delhi, and Delhi Public School of Dwarka district are the first schools that received the threat mail.
One of the schools, Mother Mary, which was conducting an exam had to stop it in the middle as the search operation started after the threat. Emergency has been declared at the school and students rushed to leave the school premises.
Some school Principals suspect the threats might be from the dissatisfied members over unresolved issues.
Some schools in the Delhi NCR that did not receive any threats also sent students home to take early precautions.
Delhi Education Minister Atishi said in a tweet, “Some schools have received bomb threats today morning. Students have been evacuated and those premises are being searched by Delhi Police. So far nothing has been found in any of the schools”.
