The Election Commission has issued a certificate of election to the 14th Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar. As per the Election Commission’s statement the signed copy has been handed over to the Union Home Secretary.
Jagdeep Dhankhar won the Vice-Presidential election with a huge 74.36% share of vote, which is the highest in the last six vice-presidential elections.
This Sunday the Election Commission has issued the certificate to the NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar who has been elected as the 14th Vice-President of India.
The Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey have jointly signed the certificate of Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
A signed copy of the “certificate of election” has been handed over to the Union Home Secretary by senior Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma and Narendra N. Butolia.
The vice-presidential term of the incumbent M. Venkaiah Naidu will end on August 10. On 11 August, 2022 at the time of taking oath as the Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will read out the signed copy.
